BACK STORY
Pain was originally an angel and Pain wasn't her name. She was pure white and had beautiful wings. She spent her days flying and watching over her sister in the living world. She lived in Heaven with the other angels and her mate. Pain's mate wasn't angel but a messager. He sent dreams and signs to the dead's loved ones. He would even visit the world of the living once in awhile. One day, while Pain was sleeping, he went to the Living World and murdered Pain's little sister. When she entered Heaven and told Pain how she had died, Pain wanted to make her mate pay. She couldn't kill him, so instead she absorbed him. When the angels learned what she did, they shunned her, as it was forbidden to harm another member of Heaven. They wrapped her in barbed wire and marked her with a red lightening bolt under her left eye. The angels also cut her wings, taking away her ablility to fly and gave her the name Pain, as she would feel nothing but pain. As soon as this happened, Pain plummented to Earth. She has spent a millennium here in the world of the living, regretting what she did.
